7 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli Safari A Kenya Safari
Masai Mara’s dense and diverse fauna including big five lion, cheetah, elephant, rhino and leopard are World-famous tourist attractions. Amboseli National Park is at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, and the world’s highest free standing mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. The snow- capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro dominates every aspect of Amboseli. Amboseli National Reserve (formerly Amboseli National Park) covers only 392 square kilometers but despite its small size and its fragile ecosystem it supports a wide range of mammals, well over 50 of the larger species, and birds with over 400 species recorded. Park rangers have often noticed birds that have migrated from as far as Saint Petersburg, Russia.
The snows of Mount Kilimanjaro, white and crystalline, form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya’s most spectacular displays of wildlife – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and hosts of plains’ game, creating Kenya’s most sought after photographer’s parades. The swamps and springs have encouraged the hippos to stay around. Other animals also seen are wildebeest, antelopes, zebras, giraffes, gerenuks, gazelles, and buffalos. Amboseli National Reserve’s best game runs are around the swamps and there is a fine lookout on Observation Hill, which offers views over the whole of the Amboseli National Reserve and beyond Amboseli’s giant elephant crowds are heart-throbbing sights with the snow-frosted background of Mount Kilimanjaro, when observed from the panoramic view of Observation Hill.
Lake Naivasha’s fresh-water species and Lake Nakuru’s luscious Malaika waterfalls and delicate pink flamingos await your visit where thrilling and rare white rhinos and black rhinos dwell in the rhino sanctuary. About 450 bird species release their melodious chants in the air.
