11 Day Kenya Uganda Gorilla Trekking & Murchison Falls Safari.
This eleven day trip will take you from the plains of Masai Mara where you will see the big five, dance with Masai natives and have an option to take a balloon flight. In lake Nakuru to witness extraordinary birds in their millions plus small and large animals. A flight to Entebbe will connect you to the another world to give you a richer experience of East Africa. Uganda is a green land with rich soil, dense vegetation on beautiful rolling hills with streams and rivers and lakes. Western End has the Rift Valley with mountains and lakes and impenetrable forests. This trip will start in Kenya and end in Uganda.
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Be picked from your hotel room at 0630 and drive west toward the Rift valley and stop at the view point and admire the landscape and the breathtaking view, take pictures, buy beautiful African crafts of everyday items at the local curios. Drive south west through Maimahio and arrive Narok for an early lunch. Here you have started your dream vacation because you have endless sights of colorful cultural attire that will keep you hooked.
Soon you will be at your Lodge/Campsite and you check in. Start an introductory game-drive to discover the Mara and its inhabitants.
Dinner and overnight at your Lodge/Campsite.
Day 2 Masai Mara full day
An early morning balloon flight to the park with a jungle breakfast will leave you surprised and begging for more!
Spend the day looking for the big five and all the classic in between, like giraffe, Zebra, wild-beast antelopes gazelle, cheetah hyena, jackals and wild dogs. There are numerous birds as well like the secretary bird and ostrich. Picnic lunch by the river Mara with hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Campsite.
Day 3. Masai Mara-Naivasha.
Early morning game drive to catch site of the rare nocturnal animals before they go hiding.
After breakfast, leave Mara and drive northwest on the floor of the Rift valley. Have lunch and head for a refreshing boat ride on lake Naivasha. If you’re a bird lover, have a blast as you see rare and interesting birds in this place where they call home. Lake Naivasha is lively with acacia forest canopy and undergrowth.. Get to the hippo point and witness the fish eagle fishing.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge/Hotel.
Day 4: Hells Gate – Lake Nakuru
Hells gate National Park is home to various tourist attractions such as the steep, rugged cliffs, deep concealed gorges that give you impressive views, wildlife viewing, rapter nesting in the cliffs, hot springs the Merryn carnelli raptor hide, the Olkaria geothermal station, tourist circuit, nature trails and health spa. Activities in Hells Gate National park include, rock climbing, bird watching, cycling, walking or trekking between the gorges and gysers.
After a picnic lunch, leave Naivasha and drive west through lake Elementaita and arrive lake nakuru for an afternoon game drive to see the wonders of nature co-existing in a limited space fed and naurished by the alkaline waters of lake Nakuru in full sun. Lake Nakuru houses Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and one of the largest concentrations of black rhinoceros in the world a large population of white rhino. The park features the picturesque Malaika waterfalls. Also of interest is an area of 188 km around the lake fenced off as a sanctuary to protect Rothschild giraffes. Among predators are lion, leopard and large pythons hiding in the dense woodlands which may occasionally be seen crossing roads or dangling from trees. Others game include Thomson’s and Grant gazelle, the long- eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, and waterbuck; Impala, striped hyena, bat-eared fox, wildcat, reedbuck and golden cat. Supper and overnight stay at lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Entebbe, Uganda

Checkout after breakfast and and head to the Airstrip for your flight to Entebbe.
You will be received by your guide and be briefed about the remaining part of your iteneraly as you check in to your Hotel for the night.
Day 6: Entebbe – Murchison Falls
This day starts early and we have just started the 2nd leg of our trip and things are going to be even more exiting.
Your guide/driver will pick you up from Entebbe and straight away you will start you journey to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a stop at the famous Lwenzori triangle. Lunch will be taken at Masindi Hotel, after which you will proceed to the park and visit top of the falls – one of the star attractions in the area before proceeding to your lodge where you will unwind for the rest of the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 7: Explore Murchison Falls National Park
Wake up early for your Breakast for an early morning game drive around the Buligi game tracks on the northern bank with a trained ranger guide to see several animals in the Nile valley like: jackals, Lions, herds of buffaloes, waterbuck, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffe, elephant, oribi and baboons and so many other early risers. You will be taken back to you lodge for lunch and rest for a while. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of Murchison falls. Spot the bank residents which include: the largest hippos and crocodiles, small herds of buffalo. There is rich birdlife on the papyrus banks, encounter shoebill stork, the most sought after bird in Africa. There after you will go back to your hotel for dinner, some drinks and an overnight.
Day 8: Transfer from Murchison falls to Kibale forest
After morning breakfast, transfer from Murchison falls to kibale forest national park with spectacular views of the rift valley, great Lake Albert, the Rwenzori ranges, the beautiful Lakes George and Edward, generally the western Albertine rift valley environment. Dinner and overnight at Crater safari Lodge/Primates lodge (Luxury) Chimpanzee forest Guest House or Mountains of the moon lodge(Mid-range)
Day 9: Depart for Bwindi Forest:
Morning breakfast then we depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park driving through the Ishasha sector south of Queen Elizabeth National park to see the tree climbing lions. No where in Africa you would stand a better chance to see this than in the large low limbed fig trees of Ishasha.
Proceed to the Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, and to your lodge for check in.

Day 10: Mountain Gorilla Tracking
Have your morning breakfast early enough, head to the park office headquarters for registration and where you will be briefed on where and how the mountain gorillas are tracked. You will then be divided in groups and guide by an expert ranger who knows best where to track them from. Tracking time is usually a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 7 hours. You will be given time with the gorillas like 1 hour to enjoy the thrilling and emotional moment with them. Return to your lodge for lunch, and in the afternoon go for an optional community walk.
Bwindi impenetrable Forest
Day 11: Return to Kampala
After your early morning breakfast, checkout of your hotel and then set off for Kampala with one stopover to take pictures at the equator monuments. Then continue to Kampala where the driver will drop you off at the airport.
